About the Album
"Hero" is the first track on Skillet's Awake album.Skillet began recording for the album around March 2009. The band recorded at Bay7 Studios in Los Angeles, California, with Howard Benson as the band's producer, and under Lava, Ardent, an Atlantic labels. The album contains 12 songs. Lead singer John Cooper wrote more than 40 songs in preparation.
